SHOW PONY PALM BEACH

                FOR THE INFORMED SHOPPER

August 2025
For the avid followers of Show Pony Palm Beach who shopped at
the Flamingo Park location, literally, come rain or shine, the good
news is Show Pony has moved to a new location in the
Warehouse District at 1400 Elizabeth Street–more on the
developing Warehouse district later. The new space, unlike their
Quonset hut beginnings, is a pristine, air-conditioned warehouse
chock full of an amazing collection of 20th century vintage and
contemporary furniture and accessories. There’s also a separate
building next door packed with their huge selection of patio/
garden accessories and furniture. If you are not up for the hunt,
maybe Show Pony isn’t for you. But for those of us who are, and
that includes some of the best local and nationally known
designers, the search is well worth it. Michael Walker, the owner,
is the unflappable, untiring guru behind the store’s success. With
his past life in fashion in New York, he has an unerring eye for
what’s unusual, beautiful and always in style.

Roland Paulley Design

Hello! My name is David. With roots dating back to my initial visits in the 1970s and a permanent move in 2002, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing West Palm Beach evolve into a formidable shopping and design destination. My background is deeply rooted in architectural design, complemented by experience in importing Spanish textiles and designing prototypical furniture, even extending to the restoration of a 17th-century manor house in Spain. As an “addicted browser” and “inveterate shopper” who has explored markets across continents, I launched Roland Paulley Design to keep our vibrant design, retail, and shopping community mutually informed, sharing exciting discoveries from Antique Row, the Warehouse District, Georgia Avenue, SOSO and beyond. Please read my blogs for what’s new and exciting in our community.
